CAROLINE KAYE

Caroline Kaye spent the first half of her career as a journalist profiling inspiring women, starting at Good Housekeeping magazine and writing for Teen People and Salon.com before becoming a contributing editor at More magazine. She then moved into photography, specializing in nuance rich portraiture. Caroline studied Judaic and Near Eastern Studies at Oberlin College, where she would combine her focus on Balkan Jewry with her family's intimate stories. Based in the Hudson Valley, Kaye is a recipient of NYSCA's individual artist grant and is experimenting with embroidery and mixed media to explore her family's history. her photography can be seen at carolinekayephotography.com.

STORY CONSULTANT, SARAH WOOD

Sarah Wood has over a dozen years of experience in the technology sector as a linguist, test engineer, and application design consultant. She was a founding employee of Applied Semantics Inc. (ASI), and then worked for Google on several products. Sarah has worked in both Production and Development for various LA based film companies. Sarah has helped her sister Caroline document their family's story from behind the camera. She is currently focused on providing story input for the documentary to help transform the dramatic and romantic tale of survival into cinematic form. Sarah graduated from the film program at Wesleyan University in Connecticut.

CINEMATOGRAPHER, ANDREAS SIADIMAS

Andreas Siadimas is a director and cinematographer based in Thessaloniki, with over 20 years of experience. He started Dangerous Productions, focusing on audiovisual productions and services. He has directed short films, documentaries, TV shows and commercial videos. His films have been screened at many festivals worldwide and have won many major awards. He collaborated with BBC on the documentary ‘Origins of Art’, with Atlantic Productions in the documentary ‘Ancient Greek Murder’ of the series ‘Mummy Autopsy’, and with Channel 4 in the documentary ‘The First Greek Papyrus’. Andreas taught as an associate professor in the Film Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

JENNY MAGUIRE

Jenny Maguire has performed as a professional New York- based actor in theatre, television and film since 1994. In 2004, she became a founding partner of the production company Living the 6, LLC, and went on to produce the vérité-style portrait of a middle-class American family living with Tay-Sachs in 21 Below, which premiered at Hot Docs in 2009. In between acting and voiceover work, she has helped produce several short documentaries and fiction pieces and, most recently, produced Stuck, which premiered in the Women Texas Film Festival in 2017.

DEANA MORENOFF

Deana Morenoff has produced film and video for over 30 years, customizing creative services for film projects, corporate and non-profits alike. She started at Newline Cinema in International Television and moved into independent online media content production as well as arts education. In her roles as Director of Programming and Development for the Beacon Independent Film Festival, and the BCSD Student Film Festival, Morenoff has focused on community access, education and under the radar story gems. She holds a BS from Boston University’s College of Communication and an MS from the New School.

EDITOR, ANN ROSE

Ann Rose is a producer and editor with a background in development, production and post-production. She has spent 10+ years at television networks such as Sundance TV and BBC America and has worked extensively in the independent film an television communities as well as in the commercial world. Her recent  editing projects include “Clarkston: Mother of Exiles,” about an ex-Klan member and a Syrian refugee reshaping their relationship to each other and to hate in America, “Student Athlete” for HBO, and documentary series for Netflix and Discovery ID. 

Warren Etheredge is one of the founding faculty of TheFilmSchool, helping filmmakers translate their stories for screens big and small, and The Red Badge Project, helping combat veterans work through PTSD and other issues by teaching them the art of storytelling. He has conducted over 3,000 interviews; on the page, on stage, and on screen. He hosts The High Bar, his Emmy®-nominated television series devoted to “raising the bar” through light-hearted conversation with people who care about culture that matters. He also hosts Reel NW, a showcase for the finest features, shorts and documentaries generated in the Pacific Northwest. Etheredge is the founder of The Warren Report and the Editor-at-Large for Media Inc. (www.media-inc.com).  As a producer, his credits include “Furever,” “Humor Me,” “Every Beautiful Thing,” and “Wayside Junction.”

CONSULTING EDITOR, RACHEL SHUMAN

Rachel Shuman is a documentary editor and director in greater New York City. She has edited numerous independent films, including, "True Believer," which premiered at the Ashland Independent Film Festival in 2019, "Five Seasons: The Gardens of Piet Oudolf," which premiered at DOC NYC, and "Brothers," which premiered at DOK Leipzig—both in 2017. Rachel directed and edited "One October," which premiered at Full Frame, also in 2017. She is currently editing the Catapult-funded documentary, "Storm Lake." Rachel has also edited on-air promos and nonfiction programming for A&E, History, and MTV—and is a proud board member of the Karen Schmeer Film Editing Fellowship. Originally from Boston, she received a BFA from the California College of the Arts in San Francisco, and an MFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York.

CINEMATOGRAPHER, ROBERT FEATHERSTONE

Rob Featherstone shoots commercial, narrative and documentary. The documentary “Love Gilda” opened the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival. “Forensics you Decide,” which aired on MSNBC, won a Cine Golden Eagle. “The Artificial Leaf” won 2nd place in the Focus Forward Film Festival. “Requiem for the American Dream” and “Indian Point” premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. He just wrapped up on “Farmer of the Year”, a feature film staring Barry Corbin and Terry Kiser and produced by Yellow House Films. Commercial clients include Marvel, Macy’s, Garnier, Nexxus and Coke.
